Ok boys & girls, I sent the Hostel an email today to confirm our booking & all is still ok

I will have basic route guides for everyone meeting at my house

For the UK guys meeting at my house, can those that can try & meet up with others & be at the services together@ junction 8 on the M20 so that I don't have to do too many trips back & forth

My beloved has said that she is going to make a homemade Lasangne with salad for everyone, so first come first served

Speaking with Nobby & Adey recently it was mentioned that people might want to bring spare cables etc, so it might be worth you all getting together & deciding on who brings what..don't want 10 speedo cables & no clutch do we!

I think we have enough stoves & kettles for a brew....

AND MUSTN'T FORGET THE JAFFA CAKES FOR Gooseman,Piper & European crew

See you all next week in Germany, have a safe & great trip everyone

Martyn If you have to ask why I ride, you wouldn't understand the answer!

Final reminder do not forget your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)

Better to be safe than sorry, Oh and who is taking a spare innertube? And tools for changing tyres? You will all need a spare set of bulbs for complete full bike..

I broke my rear right turn signal yesterday, can only do left turns so it will take me a while to get to Asendorf... got to get new ones or else who knows i might end up in Russia instead of Germany!

Other things to check is:

Passport, Registration papers (mc), Insurance papers (mc)

I'll start Wednesday as well. The first leg will be down to Johann/Gooseman in the south. Then we ride down to Denmark and a B&B before the last leg down to Asendorf.

Just take care all of you and be safe on the roads! Looking forward to meeting you all Friday afternoon!

Very envious as I will be V busy with the wifes stall at equestrian shows after work every day for the next 3 weeks but then some time off, possible trip down southish so may be impromptue plans/meets late August.
Ride safe and Ade we want photo's of the stored top speed data from the speedo!
Daffyd, enjoy your first "long" trip as well.
Cheers, Mike

Currently stands at 137.5
(test carried out during controlled conditions on private land by a complete idiot who had total disregard for the safety of his underwear .....
Photographic eveidence will follow ... when I come back from the gym!)

Pssst Mike, don't let anyone else see these ... mmkay?

Remember, it was on private ground nowhere near Redditch at all ....

And yes, I know there's only 17 miles worth of petrol left ...
As I'm only 4 miles from the petrol station, I figure I'm OK.

You should see 'em when you turn the ignition on - like the Rocket, they whiz and whir a bit, lights flash and then you get the purdy blue one on the right!!

We’re still looking at arriving at the services for around midnight so unfortunately will miss out on the lasagne. I’ve got your phone nos though and hope to catch up with you guys as you all head out to Dover.
Just about sorted... need to organise a clutch cable and Jaffa Cakes then I'll be done. Looking forward to it!

I have the colours!
Met with Gina and her family at Mallory park raceway and collected the flag she made from her.

Don't know why I've never been there before for a race meet, some good stuff going on if'n you like old bikes .....
and who doesn't eh?

She followed me back and we stopped at the factory ... well, the bikes took us there, we had no control over 'em.

NEARLY had no control over 'em, turning into the road leading to Factory 1, there was a lovely 2'0" wide strip of diesel which had us both shimmying!!

Nope the bikes know exactly where they're going......I even had to stop there yesterday morning. And I was in a rush...
And did wobble round that corner. Only cos I wasn't in control as to where we were going that I didn't come off. That bike must love me to look after me like that!

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....
