Besides adjusting the pedal, has anyone made other modifications to the pedal. It seems akward to apply the break in the factory setting.

I modified mine once - BY ACCIDENT. Luckily, I was able to straighten it back.

I guess the metal is fairly soft, but, I caution you - Much bending and you will likely crack the chrome.

Just a thought - Could the problem be boot/shoe related. You may be better served changing boots.

Hi Jonathan
My bike was the same when I first got it. I seemed to be reaching to far forward with my foot. Try using the adjusters on the pedal to raise it either backwards or forwards to suit you best.
I think if I remember right it's a 12mm spanner you need to make the adjustmant.

Barry,
I did the same thing, "dropped it" however after riding 380 miles this weekend, to and back from Torrington, CT to Northwood, NH I've seemed to get more comfortable with the setup.
