Sounds like they're going to try and turn this from a budget buster to a revenue producing event.
Maybe if they eased up on the sizable LE force these events seem to have these days, they wouldn't go so far in the hole afterwards. And if they took some of the money the local hotels like to gouge bikers with, charging 3 times or more normal rates, they'd have enough cash to pay for the overhead.

AmyLee and I went last year, this year I have standby over the weekend. Some of the bikers in our area are planning on going to the Unevent near Hollister. Will be interesting to see what developes.

I wonder if Life Magazine will gather up beer bottles to throw on the street for another photo "expose"?
