Ok guys and gals, It’s coming up on that time of the year again. It’s time for the “4th Annual Crab & Beer Run†to southern Maryland. Nothing better then to have a good ride and end up eating crabs and washing them down with a cold one with good company. I figure since we are starting to get close I’d better get something posted. The date will be Sunday, August 6th with a rain date (if needed) for the following Sunday (8/13). We will be headed down the back roads of southern Maryland to Gilligan’s Pier down on Popes Creek. As we get closer I’ll post more details with the meeting place and time.

Ok guys, there were 3 of us today doing some riding on some local roads looking for a good route for the crab run. I think we have a good one this year, about 50 miles. We stopped by Gilligan’s and the crabs are heavy and are running about $40 per dozen. Can’t wait for the “Run†in August….

Here 's the plan: We are going to meet up at Clinton Cycles at 10:00 AM on Sunday, August 6th. We will be heading out by 10:30 that morning. If you think you might want to do the “Crab Run†this year, let me know since we have to reserve tables.

Ya I remember. It rained like a SOB that afternoon. Oh well, if it rains on us again, it’ll give us another excuse to hit “Apehangers†on the way home. Wait a minute, we don’t need no stinkin excuse for Apehangers, we’ll hit it again even if it doesn’t rain…

It looks like the weather will cooperate this year. They are still calling for a sunny day with temps in the upper 80’s.

Just an FYI. Please remember to top off the gas tanks before you get to Clinton Cycles. That way the group doesn't have to stop for gas once we start rolling.
Since I wasn't sure how hot it was going to be, so I reserved the tables inside with the air conditioning. After we eat, there will have a live band playing outside at the tiki bar for those of you who wish to hang for a while...

Ok guys & gals,
This years “Crab & Beer Run†was another good year. There were 11 of us who made the “Run†this year. Great weather, good back roads & good food, drink & company. I believe everyone had a good time. No mechanical problems with the bikes & everyone made it safely home. Unfortunately no one had a camera this year to document the event. A few of us even stopped by “Apehangers†on the way home. I hope more of you can make it on next years “Runâ€Â.

buurrrrp. i'm still full!! once back in baltimore we stopped for a quick beer, and noticed the harley we were parking near had a nail in it's rear tire, which was going flat. i left a can of fix-a-flat on his seat and went in for a beer. a couple minutes later the dude came in all super thankful and pissed at the same time. thankful for he fix-a-flat and pissed over the nail. he paid for our beers, we said our good lucks and goodbyes and home we went! as usual, fred, an excellent ride!
