I had the chance to ride an HD over the weekend and really liked how they have an ignition switch that you lock and unlock with the key, but you don't keep the key in the switch.

Been wondering if anyone has done anything "interesting" with their key switch. Relocate it, alter it, etc, etc.

For example, is there a way to convert the ignition lock so that you can pull the key when on?

Just pondering possibilities and wondered if others had as well.

I know boogieman's moved his to the clock/tacho position on tank console. No reason I can see that you couldn't do it and replace it with a HD ignition switch which'd allow you to remove the key. Probably a more intelligent place to have the ignition switch too (tho you're left with the problem of what to do with the old switch position and you can't use the standard tacho/clock)
