Has anyone had any dealings with this place www.vtsparts.com? Found them as an ebay store. When I made an inquiry about buying a few things I recvd a personal email (not company, but I know small places might not have their own) sayin I should just send a check or money order made out to an individual. Now this sounds a little odd to me. One, as a seller I personally would want to protect myself & eliminate the chance of bogus money orders. two, as a buyer I want to protect myself from bogus dealers. I asked about PayPal & hadn't heard anything really yet. So I just wanted to know if anyone has dealt with them & if they're a legit outfit that just might not be too hip on the whole technology thang or if my suspicions hold water. Thnx

Kevin, I purchased a dice styled choke knob from them. Got a receipt of payment email, notification of shipment email and it arrived within a couple of days of ordering. Good quality to the product... very happy with company. I think Soren purchased their spiked oil cover and was also happy with it.... hope this helps... ride safe... Gordon

No dealings with them but just a quick look at their ebay store shows just a t-shirt, but it does show paypal as a payment option.

I ordered one of the dice choke knobs off of ebay as well. Excellent quality stuff. I'm pretty sure I paid by papal.

Kevin, I have dealt with Tom at vTs. I sent him my trepanned rear venom and he sent me a spiked oil cap. Tom was true to his word and I would recommend him (vTs) to anybody. So, if the guy you corresponded with was Tom D. in Bethlehem, PA I'd say you have the correct information.

thnx! But the email I got was from his assistant, Dawn & she's it was her name she said to make the check payable to... but she also said he was outta town (or country) & couldn't run the ebay store... that would kinda explain her not suggestin paypal if she doesn't have keys to the proverbial store.
Thnx again! Thinkin' I'll be gettin the 8 ball choke knob

I think I got a chrome rear brake resevoir from them (it's listed in the vault somewhere) but it was directly from their web site using a cc, not e-bay. No problems here.

I just bought the 8 ball choke knob from Dawn and had a really good experience with her. We even talked over the phone. I sent her a money order and got my knob in about 2 days just as she said. I would recommend them.

I picked up the spike oil cap from them as well. Most of my dealings were with Dawn. I paid them via PayPal. They shipped real fast. Overall, very good to deal with, other than it was a little slow getting in touch with them, after that very smooth and easy. Oil cap is top quality too.
FWIW... The next door neighbor's name is Kevin.

Actually I know quite a few Kevins.... musta been a thing in the late 60's early 70's.... as a matter of fact my best friend is Kevin, he rides a H-D night trian (all blk like the SM) & he's a bassist as well.....
Now what comedian said what?

A vendor without a Paypal (or regular CC merchant) account? Lame. And shady. But mostly lame.

I don't have a paypal account. So him not having one means nothing to me. If anything it means he is mo sunny. errr, wait a minute. I do have a pay pal account. (Yota and Matt, Stifle!) Phil is my pay pal as he has one, and, well, never mind.

Are you a vendor? If you're running a business it behooves you to make it as easy and secure as possible for potential customers, that is to say strangers, to pay you and receive the merchandise. You don't always have time to build up a relationship of trust to send crap out and hope for the best.
