Just bought the 412 shocks and fork lowering kit but need some advise as to whether to drop forks 1" or 2". So any advise would be appreciated.Interested in general handlng, looks and any problems, side stand etc. I am off on holiday to the sun from wet old england for a week but will modify on my return so do not be offended if I do not acknowledge. Also is there a photographic record on this mod anywhere? Thanks texasbrit

Mine is lowered 2", it handles beautiful. The only thing is you have to be careful how you park because of the kickstand. Parking level isn't bad,but you really have to be careful.

Just posted about this exact samre thing. Didn't see this thread first. I just hate being redundant. Stone, any issues with the fenders or the like? How easy or difficult is the front end lowering?
