I don't have any saddle bags (yet), but I just bought this bag for carrying a few things to work and back. It's pretty rad, and really comfortable for carrying a few things on short trips.

I got the citizen one.

My father-in-law just bought one, can't wait to try it out. Of course I'm 6'4" 380. Should be quite the spectacle.

You didn't say what size, but $140 for the XL!?! Holy ...!

I've got the Nelson Rigg bag and I think I paid $30. Not as "stylish" but WAY cheaper.

If I had a "real" job here in the city like everyone else, and had didn't have 10 jobsites throughout Manhattan that I can park in, I'd consider a Vespa. Nah...I'd just get a Bonneville or Thruxton for a city bike.

I like the look and the idea, but how's the comfort? Does it just rest on the rear fender/seat?

My biggest problem with all these courier/messenger/mail bags is the way the shoulder strap is mounted to the bag. Most are those cheesy snaps. I've been running a laptop for about 8 years now and have had a couple just let go.

I needed a new bag last year and looked and looked for something that did not have the cheap connections. Found this:

Perfect! Wide, thick strap riveted to the bag. Big enough for a laptop, papers, power cord, and some food! Friggin love the bag

Yeah, Stellas are cool too. 10 horses that get 80 to 85 mpg! Spare tire, floor boards, way too loud turn signal alarm, and priced at just under 3 grand. Ya feel like you are a kid again riding one of those scooters.

Just don't start humming...sitting on a park bench...

Looks great. I have used a Land's End (Brit Connection) I have used for years, in the military, Physician Assistant school and commute with my laptop. Very rugged. Used for over 14 years. Looking rugged and worn, but I kinda like the look. Reminds me of me, rugged and worn.
