Can anyone comment on BUB exhausts? How is the sound? HOw do they compare to Sceptres or EPCO's? Any sound bytes on here? Thanks

OK, comment on BUBs. I have the dresser dogs (megaphone) style and want to find another pair just like them. BUBS discontinued making them, so they have become very hard to find. Many here have the slash cuts and like them. Opinions about pipes are wide and many, like most mods here :-)
BTW, anyone have a set of dresser dogs or one they wanna get rid of?
BA has Freak, 160mains, 44pilots, air mix3 1/2 to 4 turns, BUBS dresser dogs. Never had more fun on any bike - 2nd bike 2008 RIIIT

I have a set of Dresser Dogs on my TBA, sorry I'm keeping mine. Good Luck on your hunt. I guess the slant cuts are still being made, just wonder if they sound as good. I need to get some better sounding pipes for AmyLees TBA.
Anyway we're riding to the 50's Diner tomorrow at Knights Ferry, and maybe take in the American Griffiti event in Modesto. Have a greaat day.

I know what you mean. Everyone that I know that has the dresser dogs is hanging onto them. The slashcuts sound similar, but not the same. IMHO not quite as deep but about the same loudness (not too loud but loud enough for people to hear you) And the looks, there is just no comparison.

Daq, I have BUB slash cuts and love em. I think epcos and sceptres are a bit louder overall. The BUBs are very loud when you get on the throttle.

got Bub Slash Cuts, they make a deep thump-thump at idle, and overall not TOO loud when riding normally, but when you crack open the throttle it gets everyones attention.

Block the balance tube under the engine. It will make BUB's louder and it will also sound more "angry".
