i have been a long time reader of cycle world, it has always been the first mag. of choice and will probably always get it. a couple yrs ago i started reading a mag. roadbike its pretty good has alot of tech tips and does a good job covering only metric bikes (no h.d.s to be found) but i was thinkin i might find something else to read. any suggestions?? a friend reads rider and sez its a good one but i thought i would check with my brothers and sisters before i make a choice
ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

Hustler is always good. They have great stories.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Here in the uk the two mags that i pick up every month are Back Street Heroes and 100% Biker. Both mostly cover the rally scene here and custom bikes..

Same as Hedgehog but I also grab a VW mag or two and, just recently, the occasional golf mag for new gear.

I get several bike magazines that I actually subscribe to. They all have their plusses and minuses, and those seem to change with each issue: Cycle World Motorcyclist Cruising Rider Motorcycle Cruiser
Then there are the ones that I get for not free (from memberships): Oregon Abate AMA Right now, I am getting only one car magazine and that would be Automobile Magazine.

Consumer Reports
Mustangs Monthly
Fords and Mustangs
I let my MCN subscription lapse.
Occasionally I'll pick up The Horse if there are interesting Triumphs in it.
Eventually I'll get around to subscribing to Layers Magazine (Photoshop and other Adobe products).
And just to out myself as a total NERD:
Amazing Spiderman
Squadron Supreme
Astonishing X-men
Fantastic Four

Shooting Times Rifle Shooter Successful Hunter American Hunter Hunting (notice a trend) Newsweek Road Bike (but I'm getting sick of all the choppers)
Does anyone know of bike mag with riding tips, tech tips that actually teach you something rather than all of the "chopper articles" that some guy paid a buttload of money to have a professional make his bike unridable? Dill

Hands down Motorcycle Classics is the best magazine on the stands. It's never a 100 page Harley Ad, nor is it a book about checkbook choppers that none of us could ever afford, NOR is it a book about crotch-rockets.
