I like the feature set and price of this helmet but haven't found one locally to try on. Anybody care to give me a quick review of pros/cons? Thanks.

I don't know anything about the Scorpion. Do you have a link?

I ordered one of these for my wife. $60.

Kind of has an old school look I like.

Can't tell you anything about the EXO-200, but I have the EXO-700 and absolutely love it.

David,
Can't assist with the helmet, but give me a shout, you're in the area and we get together with the local members all the time!
Jaymo is coming down tomorrow.

Not familiar with the open face but the full face is real nice. Sorry, I know it's kinda irrelivant, but as far as the brand goes I'm happy with it. They also offer different SHAPE helmets which is nice. Long-oval for me!

I liked the look of that helmet when I first saw it on the web. Went looking for it locally but could not find one to try on. I was looking for a 3/4 helmet to help with the summer heat. I wound up buying the Shoei RJ Air Platinum. I really like the helmet. Very comfortable, good fit. That EXO-200 must not be readily available at local stores.

Thanks for the feedback. Its a shame but Scorpion doesn't appear to have a very extensive dealer network.

Here is a list of all their listed dealers in New York http://scorpionusa.com/search/records_state.asp?state=NY

You might also email Scorpion and complain that you cannot seem to loacte any dealers that carry that model in stock.

Have you tried Helmet World near Canandaigua?

Someone else mentioned Helmet World to me, but I couldn't find any reference to them on first web or yellow page search.

Found them this time at http://kccyclehelmetworld.com/index.html. Thanks for the tip. I'll go by this week.

Man, shopping for my TBA and all the gear (my 50th birthday present from SWMBO) sure beats shopping for tools.

This one caught my eye.

It seems to have a lot going for it. I kind of wish I'd seen it before I bought my Shoei St. Cruz.

Yeah it's literally down the road from Pat's house, so drop him a PM before you go. Nice roads too
