I just put the freak on my bike but haven't had a chance to test her out yet since I was having electrical problems when I tried to start her up. Turned ignition, no lights - anywhere, kill switch not engaged, battery has a good charge, fuses are all fine, wait a minute... this 30 amp battery fuse is a little loose. It's seated as far as it can go in the box but when I pulled the fuse out one of the contacts wasn't as far forward as it should be. I had this happen before when I put new throttle cables on and pulled the airbox back to pull the carbs. The wires are so tight that moving the fuse box at all causes the battery fuse contact to come out the back.

Before I make this a novel, I pulled the fuse box out of it's mounting place and let it sit in the space that used to be occupied by the airbox. This got me to thinking "Why don't I re-route the wires to make them a little neater and less stressed, and maybe use the plastic tool box from the freak as a weatherproof container... and then maybe I could put the wires in my handlebars... and then... wait, I should keep these ideas for a winter project". Anyway, has anyone else neatened up the rat's nest under the seat after installing the freak? Any pics or other ideas?

Mine is even more of a rat's nest somehow... I'd be interested to see others' ideas too.
