Yesterday I spent five hours cleaning and polishing the Silver Bullet. I took the saddle bags off so I could get to the rear wheel easily. I got out the little brushes and got into every nook & cranny. Never spent this much time on her but she needed it. I dont think she was this clean when I picked her up from the dealer. What ya think ? I will be doing something different with the bags and will post a pic once I git er done. After the cleaning episode I did a two hour ride. Great day !!!!

Looks good. Its funny how these bikes inspire a real anal attention to detail in terms of cleaning. I wont spend more than an hour every six or eight months cleaning my truck but spending about an hour a week average making sure the bulk of road grime/insects/tar et al is gone from the bike has become part of my weekend routine.

Nice Bike!

By the way, do you use a chamois cloth to wipe her dry or do you use a leaf blower like I do?
