I had to have my little English Bull put down at 3:00 this morning. She would have been 3 next week and had become a loving and important member of the family. Starting last Thursday night she started having breathing and tempter problems and not one of the 4 deferent vets that worked on her over the 3 days could figure out why. Finely it was so bad this morning I had to have it done. We are all going to miss our Tallulah.

so sad to loose a furry member of the family. Get another one right away, it will ease the pain.

My condolences at the loss of your family member... and YES, that's what pets become in a matter of moments.

I've been fortunate to have had two great ones. I think dogs are happy to just be here, everyday. For the most part I also think dogs pick people, not the other way around. Sorry for your loss.

That IS sad. Sorry to hear that. I'm not just saying this, but english bulldogs are may absolute fav dog. I've always wanted one but live in an apt. Then again, what just happened to you is one reason i'd fear having a dog even if i could. I couldn't bear seeing him go like that. I think i love dogs more than people !

Sorry man, Got three dogs in my family. Know how much they become a part of the family. Of course I have one that cuts wind with a smell that makes birds die. Trying to contract with the military to use him for Chemical and Biological warfare training. Good advice get pup ASAP.

Whitt,

I'm sorry to hear of your family's loss. Those furry suckers really do worm their way into the heart.

I hope you soon can replace the hurt of this loss with the joy of the wonderful and funny stories that I'm sure Tallulah supplied you and your family.

Whitt,
Sorry for your loss. Having a beloved family pet put down is always a tough decision. I've had to it a couple of times and it isn't easy.

I understand what you mean.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I recently had to put my dog down, when I took him to the vet and hugged him goodbye, he licked my face. Damn, that was heartbreaking.

Anyway, my wife recently brought home a new dog. He is an orphan from Katrina. Buddy went down to Mississippi and brought back 17 dogs and they were adopted in this area.

How quickly we get attached.

Get another dog soon!

Rick

So sorry Whitt. I've had to do that 3 times with past dogs. It is the hardest thing I've ever done.

I know what it's like to lose a furry friend. For the most part, they are more loyal and honest than people.

We have to go through this too often. It's not fair that our beloved little critters don't out-live us.
