Do the chrome levers from Triumph come in pairs? Is the price quoted (about $80 bucks) for both or each? Part # is A9738049.

You may want to consider the product in the following thread to polish your existing levers and save quite a few dollars. I'm not affiliated.

Boms Away hread

I used it on both my fork shrouds and levers with what I consider amazing results for minimal effort. Not chrome-like of course, but sparkling enough to warrant not buying the chrome levers.

I have a picture of the shrouds in my gallery, but I'm out of town and can't post a picture of the levers.

Just an idea ......

Regards,

Tom

I recently paid my dealer $30 USD for the front brake lever (non-chrome). I assume that was the retail price for an OEM Triumph part. Also, I agree that polishing the levers can come very close to chrome-quality shine.

I think he's considering them because he has a scratched one...
Limey, I replaced my levers a long time ago cause they were scratched. Let me see how bad the right one is...

Correct me if I'm wrong here guys, but I am pretty sure you can fit the adjustable chrome levers from the Thruxton on our bikes and they arepretty much the same price. Check that option out too if you're gonna spend the $80. And yes, they are a pair for the price, but I have heard they may need a little filing to get them to fit some bikes. It seems the chrome is a little too thick (a first) where they hook inside the brackets on the grips.

A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice. Pat

Yeah, I fell on my bike and the brake lever is scratched pretty bad. Thought I would dress the bike up now that I have to fix it. Any other opitions out there?

Can't comment on the price as it was paid for by the insurance company, but I've got the adjustable brake lever off the rocket/thruxton/etc on mine. Considering getting the adjustable clutch lever too, just because I can. It's a slightly different shape to the original but not enough to be obvious. It's not chrome tho, so if it's the finish you're after you'll have to keep looking.

I dropped my bike, bent the clutch lever and thought I'd might as well put the chrome ones on.....price was bout $80, had to file them a bit as Pat said to make them work, I like 'em, good quality.

Well truth be told I haven't installed them yet... Looks like almost an inch of adjustment.

Thanks Ben. How expensive were they? Let us know your valued opinion once fitted.
