Went down to the ROT rally in Austin Tx last night, Just so happened we arrived just as the Parade of Bikes was coming down the Street to start Parking. Somebody waved us in and we ended up leading the Police with Two Triumphs!!!. It was sooo cool Thousands of people waving and hearing people from the crowd say, Check out the Triumphs. As we parked we watched all the other cookie cutter bikes roll in and never once heard somebody say, Check out the Harley! High light of my night.

It's great that these bikes atract so much attention.
Parked up today, there were mainly crotch rockets in the bike park - England, remember?
Several Harleys and I was a couple of spaces away from a male-model type posing, holding audience by his Harley.
Giving it the "I wanted a bike that would make me smile everytime I opened the grage door, and I've achieved it" crap but just before I got my lid off, I heard him turn and say 'nice Triumph!'.
I smiled inside my lid to myself.

I've noticed when parked around Harleys, The Triumph is the bike everyone gathers around to look at. Harleys are nice but everyone has one. I can see there stock dropping soon. We are the Few,the Proud,the Triumph Riders!!

Dang! I missed that! Just pulled in from 22 hours of driving from Florida, forgot all about it.

Did you do the fairgrounds? Music, food, photos? A detailed report please on the 30,000 bikes in Austin.

Something about 30,000 bikes mixing with 57,000 college kids makes me shake my head. Austin Police Dept. must worry a lot for that 3 day period lol.

A guy on a Gold Wing bit the bullet on IH-35 yesterday I heard, hope there are very few of those incidents this year.
