Of all the bikes I've owned I've never had new tires on (well other than when I bought this bike). I just had new Metzlers installed on the bike, at on point I almost wished I had paid the extra dough to have them uninstall/reinstall them on the bike(but that's another story about my own stupidity ). I will say that the bike loves to lean into the corners alot easier now, but now it seems the the front end/bike is heavier coming out of turns (uprighting). Is this due to the different profile of the tires (squared off verses rounded)?

I have the Metzler ME880's on my bike and they turn in a little crisper than the old tires did.
Getting that rear tire on solo was a bear for me...

Just throwing new rubber on seems to make a world of difference. Unless one buys real crap, any new tire makes the bike feel new again. I put a new tire on the front recently. Not only does the bike handle better - it rides a bit nicer too.

Check the pressure, sounds like it may be a little low.

That's the first thing I'll do, thanks.
The bike deffinately turns crisper, but like I stated it feels heavier to upright it. This is the first time I've ever ridden with a rounded profile so I don't really know what to expect.
