Am new to this forum so wanted to say HI!..Bought my first Triumph a couple of months ago- traded VTX 1800c. VTX was just too heavy and not much fun on the curves. Have wanted a Triumph since I was in the Air Force in 1967 so finally got one. Really like it and have put over 1400 miles in about two months. Not sure about all the mods I have been reading about. I figure the enginneers know more about the bike than I do. However I did remove the A1 to keep the pipes from blueing. Don't like much chrome so the Speedmaster is just the ticket. Am now looking for a black luggage rack not luck yet, may have to make my own which should be interesting. I only know how to do woodworking. Enough for now wife wants the computer.

Welcome aboard, Mr. Thompson!
Might I ask - how did you find us? (After having the Triumph a couple of months already?)
Some of us found the site and bought a motorcycle. Others bought a Triumph then found the site. No matter. Just curious how you found about about BA.com.
This is the most helpful, friendly place in cyberspace - expect you will be hanging out here with the lot of us.
How did everyone "find this site"?

Welcome Greg! Great riding country up there!
Keith, good question. Why not start a new thread?

Hey Greg,
Welcome! 1400 miles in the last two months... Awesome!
You could get the Triumph sissy bar and luggage rack and have it painted or powder coated.

Welcome, Crusty!
Guard your wallet in this place. I've had to sell two of my kids so far.
