But were they dressed like they stepped out of the desert southwest in the 1880s? I had a guy dressed like he had just parked his mule after hunting for gold in "them thar hills" stop me in Tombstone with the usual comments about my bike when I rode there for breakfast yesterday. Said he had a Triumph back in the 70's. I asked him if it was 1870.

Soren, when I was on the Hardleys in Calif, I never got asked once about the scoot. It was like being undercover after riding real bikes. TR

We actually had a knoledgable guy interested in out bikes out at Orient Point monday. He was like "hey is that the america?" The three of us kinda looked at eachother and nodded He was on a goldwing kinda thing, and said he had looked around at some speedmasters and Americas and I told him where another dealer was to check, cause the one nearest me NEVER has anything on sale. I guess even a full price Triumph looks cheap next to their Big Dogs...

He wasn't part of one of the shows was he?
I still haven't seen the Gunfight at the OK corral show yet ..
If I remember correctly it was 'cause you dragged me into Big Nose Kate's for beer ..... try and deny that one!
I should try and get down there at Christmas if they haven't shut for the festive break.

Yeah, he was all gussied up for Wyatt Earp Days. Oh, and it's OK Corral not Saloon. But then I can see why an Englishman would be confused.I had breakfast yesterday at the OK Cafe...just down the street from the OK Corral. Shut for the Christmas break? This is America, and there's money to be made!

Now, you know very well they didn't open the Triumph works until 1887!
