Hi all. I've been wanting top add a hard, lockable topcase since I got my Speedymaster last fall. I liked the Givi cases, but there was no mounting bracket. So, I managed to fabricate some. I've put pictures in my gallery:

I futzed around quite a bit to figure out how to get them mounted. Finally found a way that worked out nicely. Mocked up mounts out of wood first, then had a buddy cut and weld them from steel. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but gives me a place for helmets and gloves.

Nice Look
I was thinking of doing the same on my 04 SM. I have the luggage rack/backrest. I was thinking of mounting the hard case to the Triumph rack(less backrest) Should not be to hard to come up with some type of brackets. Were did you get the givi case.

Boy, I like the idea of the top box but it just seems like an awful lot of hardware to mount it. Is the wingrack used for something else (hard bags maybe)?

Nice work on the adapter fabrication - it was a good thought to mock it up with wood first.

The wingrack can also take two additional bags on the sides. The Givi monokey cases all use the same mounts. They also make a universal mounting plate that will bolt onto the factory luggage rack if you just want the topcase. I bought the case and wingrack from ridenow, www.ridenow.com. I watched on ebay for a long time, but they go for almost full price.

Sneakey Pete has a hard case too, should ask him how he mounted it.
