Got a question for anyone who hased lowered their bike or has information about lowered bikes. I'm looking at starting a bobber project with my 02 TBA. I was thinking of a 2" drop front & rear so here's the question, Has anyone had trouble with cornering after dropping the bike 2" just not sure how low I need to go and still be able to lean into the curves. Thanks.

the bike will scrape sooner, before you start decide exactly what you want the bike for and how you like to ride, also if your willing to give up some handling performance for look

My bike has been lowered about 2 in" and handles real well,I have no problem in the twisties and a lower center of gravity is allways better,

Thanks for the advice I knew I could get some good advice here. I appreciate it very much. I've drooled for the past 2 months over some of the custom bikes on this site and I knew I wanted to do something to my own. I really like the look of a bobber so I'm in the process of changing my TBA to something that will turn heads.

Actually my bike handles better lowered, I didn't lose any handling ability, and for regular road riding, I never scrape
