Way to go!!! I love that look. I've been inspired, so as soon as I can afford another TCruzer, I'm gonna copy you, maybe in two tone blue.

Very nice, I really dig that seat. Where did you get it from / how did you mount it. I can see part of a spring in one pic. Definitely would like to know more.

Dude! Sweet! Can you give me the details of that second black box under the battery? Always loved the "holey" battery strap. I also love the black leather w/red lacing! Very cool indeed.

Tommy, that is most excellent!

I have to say you did a superb job on that Speedy!!! I hope I can come out to the Thunder in the valley(????), is it in June? I want to see that bad a$$ bike in person.

It looks like Pennsylvanian's are kickin butt in the custom dept.

Let me know about the bike event there thats upcoming. Still have room on the homestead???

Hi Guys -Thanks for the compliments. I'll try to answer the questions so far in this post.

Seat- is off an old Massey Ferguson Farm Tractor, I got it off Ebay, it was perfect, no rust or dings. It is hinged and mounted to the frame just behind the gas tank bolt.
Jockey Shift- I hand built the entire shifter and mounts. Thanks to Brent for making the short hex rod with reverse threads on both ends. Old Schmidts of Phil. beer tap shifter knob.
Black Box- is a tool box made from a drill bit box.
Thunder in the Valley, Johnstown Pa. June 22 thru 25
Thanks--Tommy

Excellent. I believe that's the first jockey shift on an America or Speedy. Nice blending of new (LED taillights) and old (everything else). Also the chrome cam cover looks great on the black engine (overall, a tasteful use of chrome).

Hi Newt - I didn't consider struts, because the seat does have a rubber bumper mounted directly under the center to keep it from hitting the fender during bumpy road conditions. Primero - The seat is very comfortable as long as you don't have anything in your back pockets. Farmers spent a long time in these seats.
Thanks again -Tommy

Ok Tommy, but not all people are farmer and not is usual to go on that seat without of the soft covered sponge of leather .someone of the Italian forum says not to use if a person suffers from hemorrhoidses .dont you offend, that's only little jokes
bike it has been appreciated

That seat does look comfy actually. Hard is fine if there's support. I actually wish my corbin was bigger, supported under the front of my bum more, like where my leg starts. I don't need the seat cut away so I can reach the ground...
