OK, here's the deal. My newspeedmaster.com solo seat just arrived yesterday. While I can't wait to put it on, I must tell you that I bought the bike with the gunfighter seat, which means that I don't have a solo seat bolt.
I'm putting in an order to Brent for the fancy bolt and some extra minty things, but until my mints come, I'd like to just make a hardware store run and pick up a bolt that fits. To make things easier, does anyone know what size of bolt will fit into the hole?

It's M8 Mark. You can also buy a solo seat bolt (in polished stainless) from me. See my ebay listing and give me a shout if you're interested. Regards. John

Thanks Benny, but when I got my low profile seat, he actually sent me Brent's slotted solo seat. Thanks schwartzkm!
So I put 200 miles on the new seat yesterday and I noticed an improvement over the gunfighter seat. Looks darn good too if I may say so myself.

I have that slotted bolt too  Union jack milled into it? All the cool kids have those! I'm looking forward to seeing it (and sitting on it) to see how it feels!

By the way, we have a long weekend of decent weather coming up and my girlfriend is outa town... So let me know if you want to come out and help me scope out some roads. I also have a carb balancer
