This finisher is for my 05 america. It is standered on the speedmaster. My question is how is this installed. The clutch cover is solid,so i am wondering how this can be done. The seller said it is held on with an allen screw. I really did not follow, i guess i need to see the part. If anyone has installed this please let me know. Thanks Doug

Doug, I don't have the part, but it is my understanding that it is a peel-off piece and sticks on like the Triumph oval and trianglular emblems. You just clean the area with alcohol and press it on. This is also the same way the knee pads attach.

You sound like you're confusing two different pieces.
The clutch cover finisher, is the Triumph logo on a black stick on plate you adhere with double sided tape, or RTV so you don't lose it. This is attached to the large round/sightly domed area of the main clutch cover for the left side of the motor.
There is also the clutch lifter kit, sold by Brent at Newbonneville.com , that does use a tiny allen screw to hold the part in place on top of the little clutch activator mechanism where your clutch lever is attached.

Hi Doug,

Yep, sounds like you are talking about the lifter cover. It's milled out underneath and when you drop it over the clutch lifter arm, the allen screws engage the bottom of the arm to lock it in place.

Sorry guys for the confusion. British customs orderd the wrong part. I did want the triumph decal which sticks on, they were sending a lifter cover. I called them back and I will be getting both. Thanks for all your help, you did clarify between the two parts well. Doug

Hey I have to say I just added these two parts to the bike and it looks great. These little inexpensive parts really dress it up. Thanks Guys
