HAs anyone watched that show on the Speed Channel, "Pinks". It's kind of cool. Guys actually race for pink slips. In a way it is sissyfied, not just because it best three out of five races, but because they can negotiate for car lengths and such to make the race more fair(?). In my opinion, it's more like cheating, if you can't beat the other guy, get a better car. They have had a couple shows with people drag racing bikes. I think it would be very cool to pit a Speedmaster up against a Sportster (either 883 or 1200). It could be billed as the classic bike race (similar to having a Chevy race a Ford).

For shame!! You ever notice that NO HD is EVER
in a situation that even HINTS of failure on TV?
It ain't cause the bikes are that great. Just the
people that control what gets thrown out as publicity
are good at what they do.
But, I would LOVE to see them get a proper arse whoopen
on TV!!!!!

There was an episode where a Vrod raced an older Jap in line four. Don't remember the make of the rice rocket, but its owner took the Harley home !
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke .

I'm dead tired of all the crap reality shows...including Pinks. Show young guys that haven't got the money to replace their ride (that they built in a home garage) and you might have something aproaching reality.

Most people could only wish for the so called reality
TV shoves at us! Thank goodness for the off switch!
Ya want reality? How bout we tar and feather those producers
of said shows, ride um outta town on a rail, and film it?

My tv spends most of its day on Speed TV. Pinks is okay for a few minutes. Too many races and too much negotiation. There coverage of the bike racing Supercross or flat track is exceptional.
Off topic: Did you ever notice on the bike flat track stuff its Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Ducati all the time in the top 4. Where is Mr. Buell? Does he and Mr. Harley not race anymore?
