Have any of you ordered things from this outfit? I ordered some Leatherworks saddlebags and Easy Brackets yesterday. I have received no order confirmation and have e-mailed them twice, but still no response. I think they are in California. I don't want to order them again from another company because they may show up. Dave

I ordered my 112P's from them...EXCELLENT customer service for me. They were a little off on the order confirmation, but the bags did arrive sooner than they said they would.
My shipping address is different than my billing address, and they called me within hours of submitting the order online to verify who I am and that the order was legit, so extra points for them as far as I'm concerned.

Good choice on the Leatheworks by the way...which ones d'ya order? I had my easy brackets on for a week, then trimmed down some thick plexiglass and reinforced the insides of them...now no worries!

I ordered the 112+2 for $408 plus the Easy Brackets for about $150. If you want real leather, b717doc, it cost a little more. I only want to buy them once. I am not familar with the phoney leathers that out these days. I did receive an e-mail today from Leatherworks Inc. in response to mine. Really nice person, Aimee Thatcher. I was told that Sideroad is a little slow with confirmation and does not do it until the order has left Leatherworks. The two companies are very small one person shops. Anyway I am relieved. I thought I had sent my order into a vacuum. Mark, you comments are also relieving to me. Thanks much.

No problem Dave. I was the same way. I had the slanted Triumph turds and was disappointed after my first ride. I needed something bigger and also desired QUALITY. The Leatherworks bags live up to my expectations and more. You'll be thrilled when you unpack 'em. They combine all the extras that every bag should have. My favorite is the over-the-top straps. Really come in handy to strap your leather jacket on top if it warms up and you're packed up for a weekend trip. They also make these cool additions to add on top of the bags.

After spending the last two weekends on my bike w/the Triumph straight bags, I just ordered Saddlemen Drifter jumbo slant bags from Cruiser Customizing. They had a good price(149-on sale), no sales tax, and free shipping. I also got the Drifter Handlebar Roll Bag, and a Saddlestow bar bag. All for under 300 bucks. I think I paid $350 to my dealer for the Triumph ones.
I'll let y'all know how I make out.
Gettin' ready for the NH ride, more carry space.
