Went for a long Saturday cruise around the old stomping grounds of Long Island. Wound up in Oyster Bay up on the water at Breakers, a typical biker hang out thats been around for 30+ years. As I pull up I immediately notice the red and black "Indian". I stop and there are a bunch of biker looking guys hanging around looking at it. I walk over and say "hey Billy Joels new OCC bike. I then hear "no it's not" and "oh yeah, where is he". OK guys it says Billy's Bob with OCC signed under it on the rear fender. Then Billy walks up behind us and says hello. Growing up in the area I have met him a bunch of times, not that I would expect him to remember. He seemd to talk to me mostly but I figured it was because I WAS THE ONLY OTHER BIKE PARKED THERE! Well they all lookied like bikers  He was not completely happy with his $125k purchase. The shades of red are wrong and he told them he wanted a bike he could ride, not just look at. Well it seemd he got a bike to just look at as he is not at all impressed with the ride. Anyway a cool looking bike that you can't miss form a distance.

I just saw the "Fantasy Bike" episode where they give this (nice looking) woman her "dream" bike...Now I like a long rake...but DAMM this thing was a mile long...not such a good daily rider...those bikes look nice (some) but they don't ride worth sh!t (unless your in the midwest where you can go straight for hours) her first time on a chopper and they take her to an AIRFIELD to learn to ride it...My F150 with my camper behind has a better turning radius than this thing did...

I remember watching that episode. The OCC boys didnt seem to be that worried about the colors not matching. It was Senior who finally decided to send some of the parts back for repainting. But even after that it still wasnt a perfect match.

120K of that 125K was a delivery fee for bringing it to his concert. It's all a publicity stunt for both OCC and Mr. Joel. Gotta stay in front of the public eye or they’ll forget about u!

I did not see the episode but it was the first thing I noticed. The paint does not look right.
As much as this may be about publicity he really did want and expect a bike for riding.

I saw most of that episode... They were kind of upset about the colors, but they were also tired of Billy because he was a true stickler for his style. They wanted to do the usual raked out stretched chopper, and he wanted a bobber. I dunno WHY he went to them in the first place, but it seemed to me like they were butting heads most of the time on style. So maybe when the paint came in they said F it. Actually I think it was the powder coating that was whacky.

Yes the powder coat and the body parts did not match.
I believe it was origianlly arranged for publicity, probably not by him.

F Billy Joel, and the Tuttles. I've got an 03 TBA and I love
it. I think I got way more for my money than he did.
The only problem I've had w/the bike is having to answer a
bunch of questions every time I stop it. It's not really a
problem, in fact, I enjoy it!

I have worked in the movie and tv industry for 15 years and I seriously doubt he paid for that bike. Its all about product placement and Billy Joel is the product here. You would be amazed at the things that are given to the shows.

It's very obvious watching that show that those guys build bikes with one thing in mind......looks. you never hear them talking about anything else as they build them. Most of them have front ends raked out so far i'd be afraid to ride em. they're nothing more than show pieces, not rides. I'm not suprised at all Billy wasn't happy with the ride. I don't think the tuttles know a thing about geometry and what makes a bike ridable. They just know cosmetics and thats where it ends.Wouldn't ride one of those deathtraps for nothin'!

Wounder if I should apply to be the in house painter at OCC.. yall did not hear it form me,, but the Nub guy has some pretty crappy work, not that I have repinted one or 2 of his 4 thousand dollar paint jobs, for less then half the cost and look 110% better..
