For ever place like newspeedmaster there is a place like Cycle stuff USA. I bought a windshiled from these folks.
First thing it was on back order , no big deal it stuff happens. 5 weeks later I get the shield it just did not look good on the bike again no big deal. I then asked for a return form, via email as they wanted, no answer, wrote again, no answer, wrote the main email adress, got a answer saying they would send me the return slip, week goes by no slip. I call in and get a recording from the return department, finnally after 3 weeks I get the return receipt.
I ship it back expecting a restocking charge .
I week after they get it back I get a EMAIL saying I opened the package so there for it is used, so I cant return it. I cant return it. Then they tell me if I want it back they are going to charge me shipping plus a 25 percent fee if I want the windshild back.
Let say for the sake of argument I was wrong on the return. To charge me to return what is my property the place is a bunch of thieves.
Cycle Stuff USA
run do not walk away from them!!!!!

Thanks for the warning. I've seen their website. It's sooo hard to buy on-line and then if the part doesn't work, we have to pay even more! Steep restocking fees are an excuse to steal! I just got parts from www.TriumpheStore.com at 15% off(always). Service and delivery was real good, plus no tax and I think only $8 to ship.

here's an idea to kick around...everyone time a company like this jerks one of us around, how about we ALL send an email informing them just how much this is actually going to cost them in lost business?

Customer service is a pet peeve of mine.
I can't understand why some of these miserable ba$tard$
bother to be in business. If the aliens can protest, then
we sure as he!! can too. Post an e-mail address, I'd be
happy to drop them a line.
I quickly realised after joing this site that we are a BIG
family, and I don't like people messing with my family.
Let's bombard these morons w/e-mails!
Power to the people!!!

Never considered purchasing anything there yet but I have just deleted their site from my favorites...maybe I should leave them with a disclaimer so I know not to shop there????

thanks for the headsup. I usually only buy from bellecorse or newspeedmaster but occassionally I have to go outside because they just don't offer what I am looking for. It is very helpful when fellow rats receive bad service that they post so others don't get screwed.

Thanks for the heads up Chris.
It's a shame but usually someone has to get burnt by one of these Yayhoo's before we find out how bad they are.
Sent my e-mail to them today.

I just sent them an e-mail:
"After reading a post on bonnevilleamerica.com, I felt compelled to contact you. Boy do you have a lot to learn about customer service. In this day, and age, of computers, and the internet, Bad news travels fast.
We have over 1400 members WORLDWIDE. I can't understand why you even bother to be in business".

Like they say, do a good job the customer might tell 10 people. Screw the customer over and they'll tell 100 people, or in this case over 1700 people.

Got a reply that was sent to 6 of us:

Hi John,

Let me start out by apologizing to your membership for any wrong that
we at Cycle Stuff USA might be guilty of. Please give me a chance to
look into the matter and get back to you with corrective actions.

First I want to thank everybody that took the time to write a email though I doubt I will hear from them its cool to be part of the family this site is.
You know I was doing the math I have spent close $3000 dollars in after market either on the bikes or the clothes that go with the bikes Heaven knows how much the wife has spent on "biker wear". Most of it bought on line. This is the first bad experience I have had. Shoot I once emailed Brent at 3 in the morning with a question expecting a response the next day, 5 seconds later got the answer.
Lot of money spent just have to remember where to spend it!!!!
Thanks again guys kinda nice to know there is a brotherhood out there!!!

You're definately welcome!

We should also praise the vendors where we have exceptionally pleasurable experiences. So let us know if you have a good experience somewhere and if someone else decides to order there...tell the person on the phone about our site and you chose them because of their good track record.

It's fine to shun the thiefs out there, but don't forget about the reputable dealers, who sometimes get forgotten in the meanwhile.

Wow, that's pretty stupid. So obviously he's been on this site, and somehow grabbed my anti-spam e-mail address off my profile. Then he sent an e-mail to me, someone who never commented on this topic (WHICH I DIDN'T GET BECAUSE IT HAS "NOSPAM" BEFORE THE DOMAIN NAME), copied the person or persons he should have addressed. If he truly wants to repair his reputation, he should come on here and explain himself, and make everything right with whomever was unhappy with his service. Maybe call Brent and ask for ideas on that.

AND LEAVE ME OUT OF IT!!!

I think this is a great idea, and I'm happy to participate.
The purchase that started all of this, was undoutably made
by credit card, and should be disputed. Who cares what knee
crawlin, or groveling, these people do now? Wrong is wrong.
The damage is done.

I run a business, and put customer service first, ALWAYS!

This just makes you appreciate people like Brent more.

Chris, did you contact your credit card company? They may be able to help you yet. If you get dissatisfactory service or product, you should be able to tell them not to pay and then the business (if thats what you want to call it) can hash it out with the CC company.

When you talk about good service by an internet company, I need to mention my recent order with Custom Dynamics. Found them on the web. Placed an order, free shipping and received the order in two days. Very impressive customer service.

Chris,

SOOO Glad it worked out for you!! Good to see that Cycles USA responded to the emails...Maybe they might think twice next time...and seeing how it was the owner who called it appears that he took it seriously!!

Perhaps we should send him a follow up email, thanking him for his attention to your situation!!

Speaking of customer relations, I ordered slanted Tourmaster bags from Tonker. They sent me the wrong bags. After I e-mailed them, they quickly e-mailed me a paid for shipping label to return them, and sent correct bags before I even sent other ones back! I could have kept both sets. That told me right then that good customer relations was more important to them than 130.00 worth of merchandise.

I love a parade or bandwagon as this is! I'm on and sending an email myself. It is hard enough buying things on-line let alone to have someone not give to hoots whether you ever repeat as a client. Good on all of us for sticking togehter.

We seem to have alot of power in numbers when we all stick together. Good show all.

I buy alot of car parts, and restoration parts online. Brent at Newbonneville.com has given me the very best service from any other vendor I deal with. He has even helped me find Hayabusa parts. What more could you ask for?
