Anyone know of a good place online to order helmets? Preferably with a good return policy?

I have a Z1R half helmet in an XL. The large seemed a bit tight to me so I went a size larger and when its all strapped down it feels comfortable without being overly tight. My head measures at one inch above the eye and around the head to the largest point just about 22 1/8 inches. My helmet came with a zipout ear and neck segment that is great on cold days in concert with a burglars mask it does yeoman service keeping the ole skull warm. Not to pricey either. Got mine at the Triumph dealer.

Its hard to determine a true size with a lot of these skull buckets ...seems to be no standard. I need a medium in a Bell half helmet that fits just near perfection/ snug but not to loose whereas the Z1R needs a large or extra large.

The BEST half 0r 3/4 helmets that U can put on your head is a "Seer".
U may have heard of them when they were "Super Seer" or if your older...Buco.
Once specializing in official Police DOT helmets,
They have (about a year ago) made the "big jump" & now make a custom line of lids.
Mark my words...U will never buy another helmet (if U like this style)!

They have GREAT options: custom washable/removable padding, visor choice, strap choices: (rear neck/chin/under chin/quick release or D-Ring) & vents/no-vents.

The best part is, they are very "low profile"
That means more looking like an egg head in a half shell!
They come in many paint schemes; I sport the police special half shell myself.

Site Link:
http://www.superseer.com/helmets_touring_custom.asp

CONS: none, but the price: $225.00
Tip: If U make it to the "AMERICADE Rally" they are always a vendor & offer show specials. $150.00 same helmet.
Look on the “home page” of the site for Seer on tour, as they attend other rally’s & run show specials.

I know it sounds like allot of $$, but if you put one on, U will notice that it seems like it may actually save your life & they look great doing it...that's priceless.

Well I was checking out a couple helmets, and one company (forget which now... I think Z1R) specifically said they use the "north american oval" shape. Another one just talked about being north american helmets, so I e-mailed them to see what shape that meant. I NEED the oval shape, and my head is a solid 24" around. Thanks for the Tips guys. Gary, right now I'm lookin for full face... but I'll keep that in mind if Americade comes around and I'm still in the market!
