I was just wondering if I should put this in my tank even though I crank the bike AT LEAST once a week (winter's aren't that bad here in WNC) sometimes get a ride in when its in the forties...my garage is pretty old, there's not dew or frost settling on the bike or anything, but is gets kinda cold....SUGGESTIONS???????????

Yes, use it if the gas sits in the tank for any longer than about 2 weeks.

A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice. Pat

I'd say use the Stabil if gas sits longer than a month for certain. You might be able to get away with just not filling too full during the winter if you ride enough.

Do it, no harm in it, and you'll burn it up the first time you ride enough to empty the tank.

always keep a full tank of gas in your bike when you store it. that will stop the condensation. sta-bil is also recomended.

New oxygenated gas will breakdown within 3 months. It will actually turn cloudy. Stabil will prevent this from happening. just starting your bike isn't good because you probably don't run it long enough to heat the pipes. Condensation can build in the pipes and cause corrosion. You're actually better off using stabil in the gas and running the bike enough so it flows through the carbs.
