Hello folk`s! I have been close to go for the lowered custom seat from newspeedmaster for my BA, but i see some of you have good experience with a Corbin seat. What is the name on the model, and how does it fit on your bikes?

Hello , I have the Tamer set (#T-AMER-S Classic Solo saddle and #T-AMER-P Passenger Pillion) about $530 U.S.D.Expensive but well made , much better than stock seat.Very lean and firm , but I think they can customise to your preference. The only thing I don't care for is that it leaves a little too much gap above the plastic cover that's on top of battery box . Overall very satisfied. I've heard many other good comments about Corbin. Good luck! Read TBANGA's post (A tear in my eye) , Corbin info!

I have the solo saddle with the stock pillion and I'm very happy with it. I'm jealous of the people who took the extra effort to get their seats customized with colour and stitching - you might look into that.

I don't like the idea of the Corbin moving you a few inches foward on the bike. Heck, I wish my pegs were a few inches further foward as it is and I'm only 5'10". I've been thinking about the newspeedmaster.com seat but wonder if it sits you forward too.

I REALLY doubt the low prof seat will push you forward. Also, I hear tell you can order the Corbin solo seat withOUT the post for the backrest, and thusly can sit in more the stock location. Mark, I'll show you how I moved my controls forward an inch...

Flat out freaking love my Corbin. You can buy it with any color, or combination of colors you want for no additional cost. Stiching (Flames etc) is extra, but if you want a Lizard Skin surface with blue sides, knock yourself out.

In case you can't tell, I can't say enough about Corbin. Service is great, quality is unreal, comfort is amazing. And the Solo cost me $299 + Shipping.

Not to mention, if by some miracle you didn't like it, you could sell it on this site for pretty darn close to what you paid for it!

Agree completely with Tom (TBANGA). Mine was $299 + $25 shipping. Corbin estimated 3 weeks to make and transit, but received it in just over a week. Also, received several follow-through emails during the ordering process. I went for the faux baby alligator, gun metal piping, and studs at no extra charge.

Here's the LINK

Here's the seat:

The rear fastener tab on the solo seat is painted black. There was some discussion a while back that Corbin might furnish one in chrome. You can take the stock chrome tab off the America seat, but the Speedmaster doesn't have that option and you are stuck with the black one. The black one will clash with chrome goodies like a fender rack or the solo seat rail. Other than that, the Corbin is a thumbs-up.

The low profile seat is the best looking for our bikes. Ok its not as comfortable as a Corbin on a long ride, it certainly ok for up to a couple of hundred mile. I have had my low profile seat on for 17000ks now and wouldnt have it any other way. It suits the lines of the bike perfectly and even softens up and improves after a couple thousand ks

Dang! I didn't know you could change the piping! Maybe I should order another?

I agree, the low profile seat is sharp. I got the Corbin simply because i plan on uping (?) my mileage this year big time...so thought I should go after comfort.
But the low profile as found on newbonneville.com is sharp.

Agree....love my corbin solo with the backrest....It gives a whole different feeling when riding on an old country road. You feel more in control or at least I feel that way. Would not trade for anything right now [only have about 800 miles with the new seat, but feels great]
