I've sorted the User List and only find 5 of the 2004 Blue & Black SMs. Anyone else have one. This seems to have been a rare choice. Just wondering how limited it actually was. The ones listed, other than myself are; larryshep, roundy77, 04SpeedM, cookie2050

They are very nice looking. But isn't the blue/ black for'05 a different shade of blue??? I think the light blue is prettier. I wish I would have had that choice when I was shopping. -PES

I know Larryshep has one, it's a beauty too. I like the color a lot, very classic looking. I would have gotten that color too if it was available when I got mine.

I've been wondering the same as Pipedr. I was always waiting for the number of sky blue/black speedies to rise but it never happened. I first wanted all black and I still like the all black speedy, but the sky blue won out. I think that this color is only available on '04 Speedies, but I might be wrong.

Hi Pipedr, Had I bought the Speedmaster, I'd have chosen the sky blue. I have even seriously considered buying an extra tank and fenders, painting them the early sky blue with an oriental blue sweep on the tank. Some may think it's "mickey mouse" to have that much light blue, but I love that color. And yes, the newer models are leaning toward more of a medium blue metallic. (Lord help us! We're sitting here talking about the aesthetic effects of Azure!). In all honesty, the first sky blue that is on the speedys is the best color Triumph has offered. I have the official Classic Lines brochures for '03 and '04, and the Sky Blue was only offered in '04. Have seen some photos of it here that I liked better than the bike in person, and the one in the brochure (and off the old Triumph web page of the Sky blue against the sunset? That was an AWESOME shot. Would have thought the ladies might have gone for that one more, and figure that anyone who has it has a real limited edition. Would love to see some two-tone choices besides ______/black. That Sky Blue with a darker Blue would have been, well, irresistable? That applies to the America or the SM.

Hi pipedr like roundy77 i liked the colour and got a good deal. the bike had been on the dealers floor for a while when i decided to trade in my sv 650s. i got a 1.99% finance deal,£500 (900 dollars) worth of clothing and merchandise and the bike was already fitted with short off roads, kneepads, tankbib, and spindle covers all worth around £350 pounds (640 dollars)so a good deal all round. all i need now is some warm weather (it has been snowing for the last 4 days) and i can go and put some more miles on the clock
