Anybody try the Works shocks? I have the Progressive shocks that were modified by the company, and I still bottom out on the highest setting, and I only weigh 180. With a rider, forget it. I'm ready to put the stock shocks back on.

i'm 275 and don't bottom with them set at midpoint. did you get them reworked? remember there was a problem with someone selling us the wrong sets and progressive refitted them with the correct springs.

That sounds like something is amiss for sure. I have the 440ais series and they do not bottom out at all, even with a passenger, nd loaded bags. I weigh about 190lbs and have them only about 1/3 down. Maybe the different grade of shocks? Which grade do you have?

Another idea...not meaning to say anything negative, but are you sure you have them at the highest setting and not the lowest? My shocks are at their lowest when they are at their highest physical setting.

I did get them re-worked, I was one of the guys that complained in the beginning, but I don't think they were worked up to the same standard as the ones Dinqua is talking about. I like the Works shocks better anyway, they are all chrome, that's why I was considering them.

What is the differens betwen the Progressive suspension 412 and the 440´s?

Does both fit our bikes?

I am also wondering if the 412´s will fit with the crome cover that they have as an option, anybody tried that?

Not sure about the difference between the 2. I like the chrome cover also but with all the problems I've had with the Progressive shocks, I'm going to stay away form them for now. I'm going to put the stock shocks back on until I can find something else.
