Get the Progressive "front kit" & rear shocks...it makes a BIG diffrence!
Smooth, no more front end dive & no bottoming out.

There is a big tech tip to doing the front.
If you plan on doing it the way it's meant to be done.
I will be glad to give U the skinny on the front end if you havent done one, feel free to contact me, but before U do it.
get said items for install...
1. 5 gal clean bucket (to catch & save fork fluid)
2. Wooden broom stick form hardware store (I'll explain later)
3. Your metric tools & snap ring spreader to remove front fork seals.
The front end took me about an hour & was well worth it.

Thanks. I will contact you when I am ready.

I own a 03 SM and I am going to keep it pretty much stock. My Dad who recently passed away had a 01 BA. He had always talked about lowering, chopping rear fenders, changing out turn signals etc. Just a little customizing.

So I am gonna take the bike and really fix it up the way he wanted it.

This website will be a GREAT helping in making his dream come true.

Steve,

Sorry to hear about the loss of your Father. This is the first time in 3 years I've heard of a fellow America or Speedmaster owner passing away.

Taking his bike and making the bike the way he would've wanted is a fine tribute to him. If there's anything we can do to help, feel free to ask.
