I am trying to convince my Father to buy this bike. Two questions for those in the area, 1) Does anyone know of this guy who did the work? 2) Does anyone know anyone who works on Triumphs between Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC?

Thanks for any assistance. Sweet bike!

I did a search on Google and found out that he is a member of the Greater Atlanta Norton Owners Association http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Brian+Hozigal&btnG=Google+Search

I don’t know about working on old Triumphs but the 2 nearest dealers are Augusta, Ga. and Batesburg, SC. I have seen Nortons and BSAs in The Need for Speed Shop in Aiken, SC. They are the ones that work on my bike.

I know probably THE most honest fellow in North America (with all due respect to everyone here) and he happens to be an old Triumph guy. His name is John Skinner, located in Auburn, AL (2 hrs from Atlanta off I-85). He sold me my '71 Daytona some 20 years ago. I'd trailer it down to Skinner's Cycles (STILL selling Meriden Trumps) and have him check it out. He is a great guy and will shoot straight with you.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.

Cliff at British-USA here in Houston is a legendary authority on old British iron. Has a neat old bike shop, too. Lots to see, always has Triumphs in stock - all models, too. Does a good BMW business too, but I think his Triumph business has picked up a lot since the BA, SM, and Rocket III came out. I see people buying or shopping these models every time I'm in, and I get to go by there about twice a month it seems, on Saturday mornings.
