I must have parked in the sun too much recently, causing my tank to expand. Last spring my tank would only hold about five dollars worth of gas but today it held over ten dollars worth!

By summertime it might take $15 or more. Mine is smaller - it only took $8.80 this afternoon.

we used to pour scalding hot water in our dirt bike tanks & the use a schrader valve & hand pump to expand the tanks. I wonder if it would work on metal? I filled up yesterday for $10..... I used to fill my truck up for that.
we should do this every weekend!

SEK12.30 per litre. That's what we have to pay right now. That's $6.17 per gallon. 3/4 of the price are taxes that our kind socialist government think we're happy to pay... So it's not all about China and India...

Has to be the heat. My truck tank swelled from 42.00 dollars in gas to 60.00. Whoah! thats means I can go further I think.
Somehow I have to fill it up every two days anyhow. Somebody must be stealing my gas.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

piper - that's still cheaper than the UK (just ) Price per litre averages about 94 pence at present (although we can easily pay £1+ on motorways), which comes out at $6.36 / US gallon. (1 US gallon = 3.79 litres / £1 = $1.79) So to put that into perspective it costs me about $20 to fill up from reserve to full on my Speedy. My car (a Toyota diesel which does more mpg than my bike) costs about $80 to fill up )

Dayum, the Triumph and Lowrider both have about 90 miles since the last fillup and the Charger is down to 1/4 tank. Guess I better go down to the credit union at lunch and see if I can get a loan.
