Had to buy a red oil indicator lens, $9.99 plus 2.50 to ship it in to dealer.I read here somewher about it and figured about $5. But 9.99 and to pay shipping from Triumph to the Dealer. When I pick it up, will vow never to go there again. They had a used speedmaster sitting out Front with lens missing. Local dealer in Orlando can ( got to be nice or they will kick me off Forum)

They charged you for shipping?! My dealer never charges me for shipping for OEM parts. Dealers put in orders for parts all the time so anything you order through them should come in with their next shipment. I agree that you shouldn't go to that dealer again. Go to one that actually takes care of you.

Found it, located in Reno NV ..... :-) Freedom Cycle. well close enough for me to ride to and a nice 100 mile ride it is. They do ship parts, you just need to know the part numbers and email them or call with the info.

If they do so little Triumph service that they order only a lamp lense, you don't want to go there anyway. The only way that would make sense at a shop that does any volume of service at all would be if you had to have the part right away and couldn't wait for their regular parts order.

When I had got home, I looked up cycle accessories west in Jacksonville and called them. Gave parts person number to see what thier price was. Shocked him I think, as it was $9.99 also but they had it in stock. I have talked with them before and they seem very Customer friendly. Should have called them first and had it mailed here. I am learning!!

when i was lookin into buying my bike, i drove all the way to that dealer(the one out on 50??) there we were, my wife had checkbook in hand and the salesman p!$$ed us off so bad we left (i was ready to ride it home) and i found that place to be rude and uncareing!!! i think it was Moe who took his bike there to get something done (dont remember) and they screwed it all up. call bob at palm bch. Triumph anytime you need something and you can bet he will treat you right!!! it sounds to me like you got yours and paid for the dealer to get his.... $10 huh, for that lens??? and shipping too??? screw that guy!!! if he was a good guy he would have flipped it to ya over the counter and said....come see me when you got a real problem!!!
ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!
