I was reading on the internet that most motorcycles are only good for 50,000 to 100,000 miles. My 2006, America currently has 141,000, I'm shooting for 200,000 or as close as I can get of the the America.

An admirable goal. These bikes seem to be pretty durable. If you have been taking care of the bike good enough to get to 141K, then you should have no problem making 200K. Or more!
keep us posted.

I remember when 100,000 miles on a car was a lot.
I've put over 100k on my '95 Triumph Sprint and 85,000 on my '05 Sprint.
My BA only has 4,000. I have no doubt it can easily last over 100.

The increased mileage you get out of vehicles now is, in large part, due to the huge improvement in lubricants. Old Triumphs and Hardleys you used to need to freshen up the top end around 30,000 to 40,000 miles. Triumph had a really good bottom end though that would last through several top ends. If maintained of course. Cars around 100,000 miles was good now over 200,000 isn't unusual. I have seen 300,000+ and old Subarus (pushrod engines) would still be going strong at over 400,000, we used them for tool wagons in the junkyard. Rotted away but running strong.
