Well... time caught up ... and I sold my beloved America.

I let her go to a guy I know will take great care of her.

Myself, I couldn't find the time to enjoy as much as the old days. My life has changed and I usually spend time in the white box behind these days. It's usually parked in front of the ocean, and I try to surf as much as I can.

But the memories... gorgeous rides we took. And that backrest that was given to me by the Good Friar... may he live forever in our memory. I miss that big guy a lot. I still have the patches and stickers around.

I'll drop by to see things changing. And who knows... maybe another Triumph will be in my hands someday. Never say never! smile

Keep the rubber side down, you all... and enjoy the rides.

Sorry... I have no idea how to put the images into the message.

I used to be able to, but this new site baffles me....

Still riding my Speedmaster the second, not by choice I replaced the 07 with a 15 but that is another story. I tried many other rides but nothing fit me like the Triumph. It is fall here and time to ride is getting short you probably remember those days so with the thermometer going up to 19 this weekend coming I plan to do a few hours.

Good to hear you are still looking at the flowers and not at the roots.

I'll be riding the Rocket this weekend, probably last ride of the year. Fill the tank with Shell premium (no alcohol), then tuck her away in the shed with a cover and trickle charger in place... until next summer. Not trailering the bike to Florida this winter. I find the roads in Florida.... too straight with too many traffic lights. I did find a couple of twisties there last year but they were short and a long way off. Maybe Arizona next winter...

I too miss the good Friar. I purchased a number of accessories from him also. The place really went down hill with the Friar's death and canning of the America/Speedy. I'm surprised there isn't a lot of posts related to the new Speedy model.
