Ian roared across Florida now headed for Georgia and north. Last week Fiona did huge damage in Carribean then by passed the US and pummeled eastern Canada. Our friends and relatives in both cases faired well all things concidered, many did not especially in Newfoundland. Good luck to all for the rest of the season.

I also blew a truck over and I keep seeing on the news reporters asking what people think as I approach.
I see it is a hurricane again too and headed for Ga and Sc.

One of my friends had 2 friends missing in FL, so far one has been accounted for as of yesterday. Still one missing. He was on one of the islands, forget what island it was.

We had nothing here on the Northeast coast of Florida but wind and rain and a day's worth of yard cleanup (lots of trees and Spanish Moss). But I'm always amazed at how the tides - even though the hurricane passed many miles off our coast, still wreaks havoc on the coastline and the homes of the idiots who build on sand dunes.
