Has anyone any new information on saddlebag brackets? I only want them for a trip.
The easy brackets are great but expensive for limited use. I tried the Honda option years ago and was not happy with the results.

I liked mine - they worked great. It was good to be able to get the bags off for lots of reasons...

It's great on a trip to be able to pop them off with the turn of a key and take them in the tent/hotel with you.

I have a set I'll sell. They are not quick release. I made them when I didn't ride my America more than 1,000 miles a year, so no biggie. They look great, but since I am down to the America as my only bike, I've switched to Easy-Brackets. PM me with your email address and I'll send pics.

The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16

Leather Auburn bags on EZ Brackets. Depends what bags you want to run what to do. If the bag has a soft leather back you will need to make some sort of support. I backed Wendys bags with black plexiglass, you could make a wire loop etc... this stops them from sagging inward to rub on the rear wheel etc..
