I have always felt vulnerable from a side view at night. I have the LED headlight and a LED tail light that pulses on braking but nothing from the side. Those LED strip lights are cheap and can be discreetly placed I am just not sure where best to hook them into the system on my 2015 Speedmaster, any suggestions? It doesnt matter if they are on all the time as they will not be very visible during the day?

I see them often mounted under the gas tank so that it illuminates the engine. I have also seen under the fenders and under the engine. I have also seen the small single LED lights made for truck markers in the end of the handle bars. I could think of a few other places to use those. I would tap in the closest place the lighting harness runs or at the closest plug. I like to wire in a protected area to help prevent corrosion and solder and shrink tube, if I can't wire into a plug.

There is some awesome reflective tape out there. You can mount it discreetly and light up your bike at night. https://www.amazon.com/reflective-tape/s?k=reflective+tape

Good idea, I have some of that on my MC trailer. I was kind of thinking I'd go for the riding on a cloud look by having the lights down low. ;-)

That is a good idea, we have black reflective tape on the sides of the bed of one of the rollbacks and you can't see it in the day but it lights up at night when light hits it.

There are also reflective media that is clear until lights shone on them Search for "deanoko reflective motorcycle decal kits"
Here's an example:

The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16
