the last Friday took the speedmaster out for it final ride of the year (and yes it was starting to snow). I rode about 40 miles out and decided that since my hands were going numb that I should go home. I got stuck behind a truck full of corn going to the mill and now cruising at 10 mph. Bored, I started blipping the throttle, I have been pretty easy on this motor so far putting on the break in miles, I was quite surprised when the front end comes right up!
To verify that this wasn't my imagination, I really cranked it open, and oh yes, I am on one wheel!. To be clear, this is not some pop the clutch and pull back on the bars program, this is a rolling along the road whacking the throttle open wheelie.
In all the time I have owned the speedmaster (2 actually) there was never a time that I thought this is a bike that would be easy to wheelie. I am really liking the new motor!
it really sucks that winter has returned, just when it was getting interesting
