This may be old news, I don't know. I just clicked the link in my signature to look at my pictures on photobucket and I guess my pictures are all gone. I got a 404 error. Looks like you have to pay now just to have pictures on there at all. $6 for beginner acct. Sucks, I would have to search to find all those shots again. I uploaded them from scans of prints I have or from digital shots from a different computer. 2 computers ago I think for most of them. I still have the computers and prints but it would take forever to find the same ones again.

I think I accidentally deleted a lot of photos over the last few computers. They used to be on photo bucket but don't think I moved all of them I wish forums would just let people upload photos to the forum server.

Photobucket changed their terms quite a while ago.

It is sad.

I have pictures in a google pictures account and a one drive account, but have not figured out how to post them on here?

I have a free Flickr account since Photobucket went that way. Flickr is always asking me to upgrade to pro however have resisted even though I get it, someone has to pay for the site and the benefit of it and some day I suspect they will say Pay to Play. I have three travel collections and anyone can look at them any time with the link however you cant rip me off for the photo and that is part of the benefit, which I am not paying for as I did not pay for on Photobucket. I have used Flickr a couple of times to upload photos to the old format of this web site.

My digital photos are on my hard drive backed up by another and only collections go into the Cloud. There is a bookshelf of photo albums from the days of film down in the basement which will probably get burnt post mortum, Will my children and their children pass around the photo albums as I and my cousins do with our parents and grandparents albums, Hmmmm doubt it. However, post Covid-19 perhaps ours and our friends grown children will chose to get together go camping like we all used to and share the collection at least once before the big torch.
