Hi Everyone- my engine went into detonation from a bad pilot jet . I’m looking for a C clamp valve spring compressor. Anyone know of one that fit our bikes head . I wanna pull the valves out and inspect them. The head is off. Thanks Bob

Help me understand this; how would a "bad pilot jet" cause destructive detonation?

It totally plugged up and my engine went into detention and over heated

It gummed up causing my right cylinder to overheat at a medium speed and spark plug has piston all over it

Engine went extremely lean on pilot circuit. Had a lot of carbon in that cylinder went from preignition into loud detention
