So I went to a dealer an hour from me yesterday to look at new Triumphs. Still thinking of adding to my stable. I was leaning towards an Indian Scout but none of them have electronic cruise control and I have really gotten to like this feature cause most of my riding is highway. My wrist doesn't get tired, it just lets me continually scout the road ahead for stinkin deer! I looked at the T100 and the T120. No cruise. But guess what? The Bobber has it and the Scrambler?! What? That makes no sense to me. The bobber is a bar hopper/around town bike and the Scrambler is a high pipe dirt/street bike. But the potential highway bikes DON'T have cruise control? Hard for me to figure out what Triumph is thinking here!

What about the new Speedmaster with cruise, the wife (AmyLee) has the 2018 Speedy with cruise, she loves it. By the way we have moved to North Carolina recently, looking forward to some Triumph rides in the near future.

I didn't see a speedy there. I'll look next time. Thanks for the heads up.

My Trophy has cruise and it's nice out on the straight highway but I don't use it all the time. The crampbuster works pretty well on the America.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

We don't spend a lot of time on the slab but when we do, cruise control can give your throttle hand at least a momentary break.
Just my 2 cents, but I wouldn't want to spend a lot of slab time on an Indian Scout.

I've been running a thing called "go cruise 2" for a couple years. It's a simple contraption that locks the throttle open, very easy to shut off. Nice when my hand falls asleep, etc. Good ratings on Amazon too and no, I don't work for 'em... Jus' sayin

I use a Go Cruise simple and effective. Great for letting me give my hand a break. I also line bigger grips.

I have a 2017 Bonneville T120 that has Triumph cruise control. The CC is a factory supplied accessory for most of the ride by wire models.

I use a trick I picked up from here years ago - a 1" O ring squashed between the throttle housing and the bar end works a treat as a CC and only costs a couple of pennies.

I use a throttle rocker, I just rest my palm on it no need to hold anything.
