I am have noticed a bit more vibration in the handlebars well at least hands are getting a little numb (maybe just age) With the 07 we balanced the carbs and that helped plus I purchased some thicker grips from Fast Eddy. With fuel injection does one balance them and is there a way of dampening the vibration ie. pad between riser and steering head or would that get too sloppy?

For EFI the action is the same. But, you are "syncing the throttle bodies". Same adjustment screw location. While you could use a manometer if you have one and the skills & plumbing parts to interrupt the vacuum lines the better tool is an OBD-II diagnostic tool like TuneECU or Dealertool if you are a DIY type. It is supposed to be a dealer check item for most any scheduled service, not that it happens.

A little added weight in the bar ends may help. I had forgotten about the handle bar vibration. After long rides some tingling is not uncommon. Long ago I did attempt some DIY bar end weights. Made a small difference but not much, the issue was small for me at the time and I did not pursue it further.
