Hmmmm..., I hope it's not like HDs partnership with Italian companies that gave us the Harley Sprints.

I’m thinking they are destined for India and Eastern countries. I doubt if we see any new 250 or 350 Triumphs in the US. I could be wrong though, BMW has the GS &R 310 cc series marketed here but I don’t know how well they are selling.

Interesting! Smaller Triumphs.
I miss my 69 Trophy 500 -- many amazing adventures on it, 50 years back. So wish I still had it, Lucas electrics and all...
A friend had an old Tiger 250 in his shop. Just plain beautiful. Ran good too. Doubt the new 250's etc will look quite like the old ones. Guess we'll see.

Those old 250cc and 500cc single Triumph and BSA bikes were junk. I have 2 Trailblazer 250cc Triumphs. BSA was the same bike with different badges. They tended to lose the crank seal at the big end pin and spin the bearing. I also have a 500cc Twin Triumph Daytona, that's a fun dependable little bike.

I would guess India in particular most other countries ding the motorcycles over 150-175 CCs with pretty heavy taxes. They are no longer transportation they are more of a luxury.
I figured Bajaj was already in bed with Triumph as some of the bikes are already being made there at a super Factory. Thailand is making parts only for a few years now in the Chanburi manufacturing zone which for economic purposes is not within Thailand.
