Enjoy the day off. For those of you that can go for a cruize and enjoy the fixings on the table for dinner hopefully with family and friends.

2nd Monday of October. Their harvest is earlier than ours. According to Wiki which you know is never wrong.

Ian, What? you know some of the northern border of PA is Canada that makes us like cousins, kind of. Yup we go out and bag a turkey, I prefer the fresh ones and we cook squash and greens and mashed potatoes and smother it all with creamy gravy and cranberry sauce. Some dress up in Courier de Bois skins and we sit around and watch Canadian Football (you know that faster game played on a larger field with only 3 downs to go the distance. The game Doug Flute and Warren Moon taught your teams to play.)

Hope you had a good one!!

and speaking of Turkey we are doing Christmas early this year as many of the clan will be travelling. One is going on a smoker and the other in the oven.
