And...here's another probably elementary request for insight and advice from those with more skill and experience than I. I ordered the gaiters from Brent and other than knowing my way around hand tools, I'm decidedly not a mech. My skill set is pretty much limited to tacking sh*t on. (Carpentry is another matter So...More or less...how tricky, what's involved and anything anyone can tell me about getting these things up my fork into the right position would be greatly appreciated. Most importantly...the "OMG do NOT do this" type of input would be greatly appreciated most of all. Thanks all...

You will need to remove the fork tubes from the triple clamps to remove any fork shrouds currently in place and to slide on the gaiters. Not a hard job but you do disassemble a fair bit of the front end. Having a proper torque wrench putting things back together is important. Tools for front axle removal may not be in your box but cost little and I think there are DIY work arounds for that bit. Hope that helps a little.

Were you able to get the gaiters installed on the America and if so how did they come out looking?
